it's just that kinda thing.
How long ago was
THAT picture, ay. Back when we couldn't do shit in
Math & spent hours trying to figure out trigo, binomial theorems & transformation over a staple of mentos, reclining in
Starbucks @ Eastpoint after having our brains fried, poached & steamed altogether. (We still owe Mrs Diana a cupcake!) Sleeping in class to the lullaby of
Ms Lee's "
blanches", "
bushes" & "
denominators", being the good students we were & grabbing the front seats in
Miss Lui's class till I dropped A.Math (heh), waffles & coffee dates when we were supposed to be studying, non-stop mugging for Bio, playing phone games during Chem & not bothering to even have a file or do the work given... School wouldn't have been as close to how fun it was if we hadn't ended up in the same class! Even though we'd both initally thought the other was a total
BITCH, hey.
and within those years we grew up & slowly found ourselves, from the days of teen angst to realising that life wasn't worth giving much shit about if it was gonna be so dreary all the time. Making up our own
ABCs (... PUNANI!), our stupid version of "Heal The World", terrorising
Saffy dearest & having morbid fantasies of plucking out
Lopez's facial hair.. so many other memories I can't pinpoint cos there's just too many of them.
And next time if you decide to skip your touch rugby camp & need a place to crash.. well I can't offer you mine, but there's always our spot outside Esprit, listening to people whine in the middle of the night, watching old fat guys bring back their girls for the night; & next time taking a picture with a sexy flashy car is a
MUST.
Happy Seventeenth Birthday,
Priyathanaa! <3
(you owe me drinks.)
BAYBEATS tonight! I hope it's not gonna be like last year's, when only the company I was with was good but the acts & scene wasn't.
Monofone's (HAHA) playing at seven, followed by
Caracal! The best was still when
Copeland came down to perform both acoustic & on stage in '05, & I was right infront nearest to the speakers on the last night, moshing it up with everyone else.
But tonight's gonna be rad all the same I hope, with
Nissa, Tyng, Lebinlove & Liz! Plus my favourite girls
Marr & Sharatul for hugs as well? :)
I think I'm slowly not seeing or feeling the point of blogging anymore. This is what the thought of exams being two weeks away does to you.
p/s anyone free on 12th August night, come to Home Club with me?
Amateur Takes Control's EP Launch, $12 for entry. :)<3.
