ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, something i predict to be THE motion picture of 2007.
it's a musical, set in the 1960s amidst anti-war protests, struggle for civil rights, sex drugs rock & roll, leading to the onset of the Vietnam War. about falling in & out of love, changing, and how a tragedy can pull you back into believing what was important in the first place.
Evan Rachel Woods is in it, despite my admiration for her having faltered after Marilyn Manson
dumped Dita Von Teese for someone more than half his age (yes, i'm pro-DVT), Woods is still a fabulous actress, her works are excellent, i think she has that ability to portray unspoken emotions & thoughts excellently.
best part is how its a
MUSICAL, something
a la Moulin Rouge, only that most songs from
The Beatles are used, how rad is that gonna be.
I WANT/HAVE TO WATCH THIS, i bet its gonna be the ultimate tear-jerker & i can see myself getting the dvd & replaying it over and over till i can regurgitate every line said by every character and start the waterworks all over again.
